Applying a myspace background?

I know this has been asked before and i have copied the background and applied it to the about me section of myspace profile and then saved changes and previewed profile but it hasn't worked , i know some of you guys will be able to help me out what have i done wrong? can there be any other text in that section? thanks in advance

I had a pretty hard time for a while too. For something that is supposed to be easy, it sure is a pain in the butt!!! What I had to do was basically start over. Go to the about me section and delete EVERYTHING except for the things that are actually about you. Then try again. Some of the web sites the you get the backgrounds from don't actually work. I used tom's myspace editor. I'm not sure where I found it, but it worked. http://www.strikefile.com/myspace/

try that site, it worked for me, and it gives you actual instructions instead of just being stupid about it!!

Check for any special instructions from the page that you got the code from. Some of them have to be put in a specific part of "About Me" like at the end.
